Image \u00a9 Philippe Ruault.<\/h2>\n<h2><!--more--><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Las actividades econ\u00f3micas humanas dependen naturalmente del ecosistema global, y las posibilidades de crecimiento econ\u00f3mico pueden verse limitadas por la falta de materias primas para abastecer los <em>stocks<\/em> industriales y comerciales. Mientras que para algunos recursos todav\u00eda hay reservas sin explotar, como ciertos metales y minerales,\u00a0existen otros, como los combustibles f\u00f3siles e incluso el agua, con serios problemas de abastecimiento\u00a0en muchos lugares.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Es innegable que la industria de la construcci\u00f3n tiene un impacto significativo en el planeta. Enormes cantidades de recursos, materiales, agua y energ\u00eda se explotan, procesan y consumen para la ejecuci\u00f3n de una obra, limit\u00e1ndose a la vida \u00fatil de los edificios. El Consejo Internacional de la Construcci\u00f3n (<em>Conseil International du B\u00e2timent &#8211; CIB<\/em>) se\u00f1ala que la construcci\u00f3n civil es el sector humano que consume la mayor cantidad de recursos naturales, utilizando energ\u00eda de manera intensiva. Este impacto se ve exacerbado por procesos productivos ineficientes, el desplazamiento de suministros y el desperdicio excesivo durante varias otras etapas de la construcci\u00f3n.\u00a0Existen muchos problemas que abordar para hacer que nuestro mundo sea m\u00e1s sostenible y eficiente.
